What We Do

“Adolescent overdose deaths in the United States more than doubled from 2010 to 2021, jumping from 518 to 1,146 deaths annually” - Journal of American Medical Association (JAMA), 2022

Our Mission

Our mission is to spread awareness about the dangers of addiction and substance abuse to high school students. We aim to raise awareness about the risks of overdoses, educate the community on prevention strategies, and provide guidance on recognizing the signs of addiction. For preventative measures, we are planning to provide resources and support to teenagers struggling with addiction. These goals are dedicated to 19-year-old Marco Troper, who lost his life in February of 2024 to an overdose.

Our Goals

We are deeply committed to creating a safe, supportive environment for teenagers struggling with addiction. We are planning to bring guest speakers into high schools, such as doctors, recovering addicts, and addiction psychologists, to share their insights and personal experiences. Their stories will help students understand the profound repercussions of addiction, recognize how to support someone who is struggling with substance abuse, and how to help in overdose situations. Additionally, we are planning to use donations to donate to other charities working in this field. Furthermore, we are hoping to distribute free Narcan to high schoolers, a crucial tool to help prevent overdose fatalities.
